Illuminate/Ruminate: Advice on a Recent Win

The first Petals and Prophecies has come and gone and, from what I heard, the girls from Stems are inclined to do it again. So, while we eagerly await that, here’s a little something for those who missed the first run.

To mark the first New Moon of 2026, tonight’s activity will offer advice on a breakthrough or feat you recently pulled. Because, remember: Every new beginning has a corresponding follow-through.

For this, I’ll be using the very format I used last weekend, with the following decks:

The Fountain Tarot
Woodland Wardens Oracle Deck
The Language of Flowers Oracle Deck

To start, choose any of the following flowers:

PILE 1 – Detachment/Sacred Lotus
PILE 2 – Inspiration/Siberian Iris
PILE 3 – Understanding/Scarlet Paintbrush
PILE 4 – Consciousness/Rafflesia
PILE 5 – Vitality/Mexican Marigold

++++++++++

PILE 1 – Celebrate, then brace yourself

Your efforts have come into fruition and it’s time to reap the rewards of your hard work. You’ve earned it. Just remember to guard and strengthen your heart as you step into a higher role and take on bigger responsibilities. Never rest on those laurels. It gets tough after your honeymoon stage.

PILE 2 – Agree to disagree

The strength of that connection never guaranteed you’d be on the same page. Those disagreements don’t make you less compatible. When it gets rough, just remember why you’re drawn together in the first place. You were led to each other for a reason.

PILE 3 – Contribution Over Credit

Relish that sense of accomplishment while it lasts. Truth is, some undertakings or projects aren’t meant to put your name out there. At worst, others might even take the credit. It’s simply the price you pay for being part of a bigger system. Celebrate the fact that you’ve taken part, nonetheless. Those efforts will be rewarded another way.

PILE 4 – A Rekindling

You missed each other. Now you’re ready to put the pain of separation, distance, or misunderstanding behind you – for now, at least. As you rekindle that closeness, remember that emotional maturity means navigating through those inevitable ups and downs. Those feelings come in cycles.

PILE 5 – Trust your outrageous idea

That crazy idea feels less crazy now, doesn’t it? Thank yourself for seeing that concept through. Moreover, thank yourself for believing. You are a visionary.
