Illuminate/Ruminate: What Will This Mercury Retrograde Teach You?

Not to romanticize that recent viral infection or anything, but clearly, the isolation gave me room to rest and recharge.

There’s slight irony in recovering close to 2026’s first Mercury Retrograde – a season known for hitches, miscommunications, and delays. But, as more thorough analysis always reveals, it’s a period of reassessment and recalibrating. Ergo, it’s not to be feared.

For this Full Moon activity, find out what the next four weeks will teach you, through the following decks:

++++++++++

PILE 1 – The right route isn’t meant to be smooth

Shaky start, wasn’t it? Don’t worry. You were right in expanding your horizons and taking that leap of faith. Otherwise, you would have stagnated. You’re meant to take control, whether in simply choosing to finally invest on your skills, or building your own start-up empire. The wheel is finally yours to steer. And, this time, it’s your turn to flourish.

PILE 2 –  Lead, love, learn

Even if you have it mapped out, there will still be roadblocks. Even the most fool-proof plans have loopholes and setbacks will always be there. This is a call to be patient and flexible. Because, while crisis prevention is a must, crisis management is just as essential. You can be on top of things while still being compassionate and open-minded. Learn from your peers.

PILE 3 – Choose graciousness

Someone you hold in high regard may have disappointed you, but it’s no reason to walk away. Differences and disagreements always come with the territory, regardless of dynamic. No one is without flaws or quirks. That’s where acceptance, understanding, and forgiveness come in. Remember why you’re in this together in the first place. Just make sure the pros continue to outweigh the cons.
